Lenskart, founded by Peyush Bansal, is preparing to launch its next-generation smart glasses, B by Lenskart. This will be the company’s second AI-powered smart wearable after the Lenskart Phonic Smart Glasses, which were launched in February this year.
The company revealed that these new AI smart glasses will soon be available for Indian developers so they can create apps for them. Lenskart also plans to launch its upcoming wearables in other international markets. Recently, the company confirmed that the B by Lenskart smart glasses will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chipset.
Support for Indian Developers
Lenskart has announced that it will allow Indian developers to build apps for its B by Lenskart AI camera smart glasses. Under the leadership of Peyush Bansal, the company aims to enable seamless integration across various categories such as food delivery, entertainment, and fitness.
According to Lenskart, these new wearables are “designed and engineered in India” but are also being prepared for the global market — meaning they will be sold not only in India but also in other countries.
The company plans to launch B by Lenskart by the end of December 2025. The smart glasses are expected to weigh around 40 grams, making them about 20% lighter than comparable smart glasses.

B by Lenskart will feature an integrated Sony camera capable of capturing photos and videos. The glasses will include a Gemini 2.5 Live-powered AI assistant, designed to offer users a natural and human-like interaction experience.
The smart glasses will also support hands-free UPI payments, live translation, and well-being insights.
During the Snapdragon for India XR Day event, Lenskart CEO and co-founder Peyush Bansal confirmed that all upcoming Lenskart smart glasses will run on Snapdragon chipsets.
The B by Lenskart will be the company’s second pair of smart glasses, following the Lenskart Phonic Smart Glasses, which were launched in India earlier this year at a price of ₹4,000.
