Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna’s action-packed film Dhurandhar has been roaring at the box office since its very first day. The movie has completed six days in theatres, and with a massive budget of ₹280 crore, it is already close to recovering its cost through worldwide collections. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is moving ahead at full speed without any break. Meanwhile, Dhanush and Kriti Sanon’s film Tere Ishq Mein, which has been running for the past 13 days, is also silently performing well at the box office.
The story of Dhurandhar includes the Kandahar hijack incident and the attack on the Indian Parliament by terrorists. But the focus soon shifts to India’s response. IB Chief Ajay Sanyal (played by R. Madhavan) is in no mood to spare the enemies. After the Parliament attack, the government gives clearance for Ajay Sanyal’s special mission—Operation Dhurandhar. For this mission, Hamza (Ranveer Singh) is sent to Pakistan through Afghanistan. Hamza saves the life of the brutal terrorist Rahman Dacoit’s son and becomes so close to him that no one suspects his real purpose across the border.
Aditya Dhar takes the audience deep inside Pakistan’s dark world of underworld crime, terrorism, and dirty politics. From Ranveer Singh to Akshaye Khanna, every actor’s performance in the film is receiving high praise.
