Delhi Metro Launches Bike Taxi Service: Know Its Features and Fare Details

Good news for daily commuters of the Delhi Metro! Delhi Metro passengers can now book bike taxis through the ‘DMRC Momentum’ application. This means you no longer have to wait for an e-rickshaw to go home after getting off at the metro station. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced this service through an official statement on Monday. Currently, this service is available at 12 metro stations.

The bike taxi service is available at the following stations: Dwarka Sector-21, Dwarka Sector-10, Dwarka Sector-14, Dwarka Mor, Janakpuri West, Uttam Nagar East, Rajouri Garden, Subhash Nagar, Kirti Nagar, Karol Bagh, Millennium City Centre Gurgaon, and Palam.

Reason for Launching the Bike Taxi Service:

According to the DMRC statement, the bike taxi service has been introduced as a new feature on the existing ‘DMRC Momentum’ app. This service is being implemented in collaboration with ‘First and Last Mile Connectivity India Private Limited.’

DMRC also mentioned that this service will be available at over 100 stations within a month, and it will be extended to all remaining stations within the next three months.
