Fans are eagerly waiting for the new season of Salman Khan’s popular reality show Bigg Boss. But the wait is about to end soon, as fresh updates have revealed the premiere date of Bigg Boss 19. According to reports, the show is set to begin in August, and the names of some of the contestants have also surfaced.
As per The Indian Express, Bigg Boss 19 will run for five months, making it the longest season of the show so far. Salman Khan’s reality show will premiere on the last weekend of August—on the 29th and 30th. The official announcement is expected by the end of July. Interestingly, this time, Salman Khan will not be the only host. He will be joined by three other celebrities to co-host the show.
These 3 Celebrities Will Co-Host with Salman Khan
Out of the five months, Salman Khan will host Bigg Boss 19 for the first three months. His contract is only for this period. After that, the show may be hosted by Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Anil Kapoor. However, for the grand finale, Salman Khan is expected to return as the host. The core team is currently deciding whether a single host will take over for the remaining two months or whether different celebrities will host it.
Digital First, Then on TV
Reports suggest that the makers are developing this season as a “digital-first property.” This means the show will stream both on OTT and television. However, new episodes will first appear on JioCinema (or Jio Hotstar), and after one and a half hours, the same episode will be aired on Colors TV.
