Big News for RAC Ticket Holders – New Railway Rule Will Make You Happy!

Category-

Indian Railways frequently introduces new benefits for passengers, ensuring their comfort and convenience. To enhance travel experiences, the railway department makes announcements from time to time.

Great News for RAC Ticket Holders!

This time, Indian Railways has brought exciting news for millions of passengers. Especially for those with RAC (Reservation Against Cancellation) tickets, this update will bring immense joy.

What is RAC?

RAC stands for Reservation Against Cancellation. It allows passengers to travel on the train even without a confirmed berth. However, RAC ticket holders do not get an entire berth; instead, they have to share a side lower seat with another passenger.

A Long-Pending Demand Addressed

For a long time, passengers have questioned why they are charged the full fare for RAC tickets but only receive half of a side lower berth. Additionally, they were given just one set of bedrolls, which had to be shared between two travelers.

Now, Indian Railways has taken a big step to improve this situation. As per the new rule, every RAC ticket holder will receive their own bedroll, ensuring a more comfortable journey. This change will bring much-needed relief to passengers traveling with RAC tickets.
