    1. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (2018)

A teenager’s life is always complicated and full of high hopes to find a perfect match once. That’s what a sixteen-year-old Lara Jean (Lana Condor) has dreamt of to happen in her life. A girl who never imagined that one day all the five secret letters she wrote for her super crushes will be delivered right onto their doorsteps which she has always kept in her private chest for so many years. In order to brush over the embarrassment, Lara Jean ends up pretending to date one of her former crush, Peter Kavinsky who studies with her in high school. Who imagined that fake dating will lead to a lot of real feelings for each other? To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before turns out to be a near-perfect rom-com and entertaining not only for teenagers but also for adults too.

    2. Silver Linings Playbook (2012)

A love story between Pat (Bradley Cooper), a man who is struggling with bipolar disease, and Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), a widow struggling with depression, who fall in love with each other while practicing for a low-level dance competition. The movie itself shows an emotionally realistic mental illness with a few twists and turns. If you are not fond of rom-coms, Cooper’s and Lawrence’s chemistry will make you fond of it for sure.

    3. Set It Up (2018)

Extraordinary performance by Zoey Dutch and Glen Powell with their on-point comedic timing, who wants to get rid of the extra hours and work from their workaholic bosses. 4. My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997)

After dumping Michael (Dermot Mulroney) as a boyfriend in college, Julianne (Julia Roberts) made him her new best friend and they made a pact, that they will marry each other if they remain still single at the age of 28. Now they are almost 28 and Michael asks Julianne to call him back because he wants to talk about something really important. Hearing this message lightens Julianne’s mood as she remembered the pact and she’s touched. Later she gets to know that Michael found a woman and going to get married in three days. Now, what will Julianne do to get her love back? Will they get back together and marry each other? Only one way to find out!

This is when Marcus in A/C business with his father enters the picture. The two old friends reconnect, unite around their love for one another, and lifting each other up professionally. Both the comedic stars made this rom-com a success which is worth watching and enjoy.

    6. Holidate (2020)

Holidate, this certainly doesn’t fit in the list. This would be the last “rom-com” movie you would like to spend time on, but still if you want to..

“Holidate” is set in Chicago, the story of a young girl Sloane (Emma Roberts), a romance cynic who is sick of her pushy family which isn’t allowing her to enjoy her singledom as she is the only child left for marriage. During the holidays, she meets Jackson (Luke Bracey), a golf pro and both are looking for a companion on New Year’s Eve; none of them wants to get into a commitment. Will holidays bring an unimaginable change in their lives and would turn holidate into a relationship?
