Panchayat Season 3 is expected to release in January 2024 on Amazon Prime Video. The second season of the web series was released on 8th May 2022, while the first season of the show premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 3rd April 2020. Both the first and second seasons have a total of 8 episodes each, and Season 3 is expected to feature the same number of episodes. Jitendra Kumar, the lead actor in the web series, confirmed that Panchayat Season 3 is definitely in the works, which means that the show has been renewed for a third season.
The creator of the show Chandan Kumar said this about the third season of Panchayat, “It won’t be possible to launch seasons immediately but we will get the next one before people start forgetting our show.” He further added, “I was worried about whether we would be able to crack the first season. And then when that worked, we wanted to be sure the second one does well. I think it is a never-ending process for any creator.”

Panchayat Season 3 Story
The series follows the experiences of an urban engineering graduate who, unfamiliar with local cultures, is hired as a secretary of a Gramme panchayat in a distant village called Phulera in Uttar Pradesh after finishing his degree. The second season concluded with a post-credits scene in which Manju Devi and Rinki receive a letter and, upon opening and reading it, determine that it is a transfer order for Abhishek, who, like the women, is unaware that it is under duress from Chandra Kishore.
