Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 Review: Light, Clean and Logic-Free Comedy

Kis kisko pyaar karoon 2 review

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 released in cinemas today. It comes across as a light-hearted, clean but completely logic-free comedy. The film depends mainly on Kapil Sharma’s comic timing and the confusion created by the multi-marriage plot. Some moments make you laugh loudly, while a few scenes feel tiring.

    Story and Concept

The story follows Mohan Sharma (Kapil Sharma), who gets trapped in a strange situation — he has married three wives from three different religions and still tries to reconnect with his old love.

The film focuses on the confusion among these four women, their families, and society. The script is filled with situations where lies, hiding, and misunderstandings create comic chaos.

    Acting and Characters

Kapil Sharma is the heart of the film. His punch delivery, facial expressions, and the confused-husband act bring big laughter in several scenes.

Manjot Singh and the supporting cast — Ayesha Khan, Parul Gulati, Hira Wariyana, Tridha Choudhury, and others — add some fun moments too. However, at times, overacting and repeated reactions weaken the impact.

    Direction, Humour and Music

Director Anukalp Goswami has expanded the same formula used in the first film. So you will see a lot of door-opening/closing, entering the wrong rooms, running, hiding, and fast-paced confusion scenes throughout.

The humour is kept family-friendly, but some jokes feel old, like those from TV comedy shows. Several situations are so unrealistic that looking for logic will only disappoint you.
The music is average — songs slow down the pace, and the background score is just okay.

    Should You Watch the Film?

If you are a Kapil Sharma fan, want a no-brainer family entertainer, and enjoyed the vibe of the first film, then Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is a one-time watch in theatres.

But if you expect a fresh story, new humour, or a more sensible screenplay, this sequel may feel repetitive and predictable. It’s better to keep your expectations low before booking the ticket.
