Airstrike Warning in Chandigarh-Ambala: Border Villages Vacated in Jaisalmer, 7 Terrorists Killed in Samba

Tensions have escalated between India and Pakistan, creating a war-like situation. On Friday, airstrike warnings were issued in Chandigarh and Ambala. Chandigarh houses the Indian Army’s Western Command and an NIA office, while Ambala is home to a major Air Force station.

In Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer, villages within 20 kilometers of the Pakistan border are being evacuated. Jaisalmer has a key military station and shares a 500 km border with Pakistan.

Meanwhile, on the International Border in Samba, Jammu and Kashmir, the BSF killed seven terrorists. Indian forces also opened fire on Pakistan’s Dhandhar post.

On Thursday night, Pakistan launched drone and missile attacks at 11 locations across Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan. Pakistani suicide drones targeted the Jammu Airport and Pathankot Air Force Station.

India responded swiftly using its S-400 air defense system to neutralize the attacks. A defense official confirmed that the Akash missile system was also deployed. Over 50 Pakistani drones were shot down along the Line of Control (LoC) and International Border (IB). A Pakistani fighter jet was reportedly shot down near Pathankot, though the Indian government has not officially confirmed this.
