The Indian Army launched a swift and powerful strike from 1:05 AM to 1:30 AM, leaving the Pakistani side with no time to respond. According to sources, Pakistan was confused for 25–30 minutes after the strike and began repositioning their artillery guns without firing, fearing that Indian forces had located their positions. Eventually, Pakistan began heavy shelling in retaliation.
