Ground Zero Movie Review- Emraan Hashmi Shines in This True Story of Courage, Loss and the Fight for Justice

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Ground Zero is a strong and emotional action-thriller film. It is based on the life of a real BSF officer, Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey. The story happens in Srinagar in 2001, where a group of dangerous terrorists is killing Indian soldiers one by one. They shoot them from behind using pistols. The leader of this group is a terrorist named Rana Tahir Nadeem, also known as Ghazi Baba, who is the chief of Jaish-e-Mohammed.

The terrorists kill more than 70 soldiers. Officer Narendra and his team try very hard to catch them, but the gang always stays one step ahead. Ghazi Baba also plans attacks in Delhi, Gandhi Nagar, and again in Kashmir. In Kashmir, he even kills a young teenager named Hussain, who was helping Narendra as an informer.

After Hussain dies, Narendra feels very sad and guilty. He argues with his senior and asks for a transfer. He wants to leave for Indore. But the big question is—will Narendra leave Kashmir, or will he stay and fight back to finish Ghazi Baba and his gang?

The director, Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, has done a great job. The film is serious and full of emotion. From the very first scene, it grabs your attention. Some scenes are so real and powerful that they may even make you cry.

Emraan Hashmi gives one of his best performances. He looks strong, emotional, and brave as the BSF officer. The actors who play his BSF teammates—Abhay Dheeraj Singh, Lalit Prabhakar, and Deepak Parmesh—are also very good. Sai Tamhankar and Zoya Hussain have short roles, but they leave a big impact.

Final Words: Ground Zero is a must-watch film for those who love real stories, action, and patriotism. It is well-acted, emotional, and tells a very important story about the bravery of Indian soldiers.
