    Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse is a light-hearted mystery thriller directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon in his Malayalam debut. The film, produced by Mammootty Kampany, stars Mammootty as Dominic, a private investigator with a sharp mind and a kind heart.

A Simple Job Turns into a Big Mystery

The story starts with Dominic taking on a simple case—to find the owner of a lost purse. But things quickly take a turn when he gets tangled in a web of missing people, a stalker, and even a murder. Along with his assistant Vicky (Gokul Suresh) and his supportive wife Sara (Lena), Dominic must solve the mystery before it’s too late.

    Performances and Direction

Mammootty shines as Dominic, playing a detective who is both smart and charming. His chemistry with Lena adds warmth to the story. Gokul Suresh is fun to watch as Vicky, bringing in some comic moments. Sushmitha Bhatt as the mysterious Nanditha keeps the audience guessing, while Shine Tom Chacko and Vijay Babu play their roles well. Gautham Vasudev Menon’s direction balances mystery and humour, making the film an enjoyable ride.
