Maruti Suzuki has unveiled its first electric car at the EICMA 2024 Auto Show in Milan, Italy. Named the E-Vitara, Maruti Suzuki announced details of this launch through a filing on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Production of the car is set to begin next year at Maruti’s plant in Gujarat. Sales of the car are expected to commence by summer 2025 in Europe, India, and Japan. The car is based on the concept model “eVX.”
