Narendra Modi took oath as Prime Minister for the third time on Sunday. President Draupadi Murmu administered the oath of office and secrecy to PM Modi. With the swearing-in, PM Modi equaled the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, who has previously been the PM of the country for three consecutive times. After Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh at number two and Amit Shah at number three took oath as Union Cabinet Minister.
Nitin Gadkari, BJP President JP Nadda, former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Nirmala Sitharaman, S. Jaishankar took oath as Union Cabinet Ministers in the NDA government led by Prime Minister Modi at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Former Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar took oath as Cabinet Minister. He has reached Parliament for the first time after winning from Karnal Lok Sabha seat.
