Set against the backdrop of spring in 1995, Yeh Meri Family Season 3 invites us to relive the magic of the ’90s. Through the eyes of 11-year-old Rishi (played by Anngad Maaholay), we step into the Awasthi family’s world—a place where love, laughter, and challenges intertwine.

    Review:

The show beautifully captures the essence of family dynamics. Juhi Parmar shines as Neerja, the strict yet caring mother. Rajesh Kumar portrays Sanjay, the supportive father, with warmth. Veena Mehta as the loving daadi and Hetal Gada as Rishi’s elder sister Ritika add authenticity to every scene.

Nostalgia drips from every frame. Remember watching Hum Aapke Hain Kaun on a clunky VCR? Or playing traditional games like Pittu Garam (Seven Stones)? The series weaves these memories seamlessly into its narrative. However, there are moments when nostalgia feels a tad forced, especially during Rishi’s school encounters with bullies.

The sibling chemistry between Rishi and Ritika is a highlight. Their banter, secrets, and shared laughter evoke genuine warmth. Anngad Maaholay captures the awkwardness of adolescence with depth.

Director Rahib Siddiqui maintains a light-hearted tone throughout. While simplicity works, some viewers might crave deeper character development. Yet, the show’s emphasis on family bonds and teenage emotions remains compelling.

In summary, Yeh Meri Family Season 3 is a delightful blend of past and present. It’s a feel-good binge-watch that’ll leave you grinning—a reminder that family ties transcend time.
