Dunki has released today in the theatres on December 21, 2023. The film directed by Rajkumar Hirani stars Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani in the leading roles. The film is made on a budget of Rs 120 Crores after including the marketing and advertisement costs. It is one of the cheapest Shah Rukh Khan movies in 2023 in terms of the budget. Shah Rukh Khan is playing the lead character Hardayal “Hardy” Singh Dhillon in Dunki for a salary of Rs 28 Crores. It is being reported that Shah Rukh Khan has taken a huge pay cut to work with Rajkumar Hirani for the first time.
Taapsee Pannu is portraying the female lead Manu in Dunki and she is taking home Rs 5 Crore for her role. Her salary is more than her male counterparts Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani.
Vicky Kaushal is going to be seen in a special role in Dunki. He is playing Sukhi in the film for a salary of just Rs 1 Crore. Kaushal was very enthusiastic to work with Rajkumar Hirani and for that he has agreed to take a pay cut.

Veteran actor Boman Irani plays Gulati in Dunki and he is getting a huge sum of Rs 2 Crore. Interestingly, the salary of Boman Irani is more than the fee of Vicky Kaushal for Dunki.
