WhatsApp has transformed the interface of its app for Android users to make the app interface similar to that of Apple phones. This new update has completely changed the outlook of WhatsApp as their are four tabs available on the homepage, including the communities.
This update to WhatsApp won’t have any impact on iOS users. The company has made the look quite similar to the iOS version. In this latest version, the status bar has been moved down. Now you’ll see not three but four tabs on WhatsApp. Earlier, users only saw options for chats, updates, and calls, but now the list has also added a community tab.
The company has added an icon for each tab in this feature. Additionally, you’ll notice a green dot that will indicate notifications. This green color will be slightly lighter than the previous green.

WhatsApp recently provided information about another update related to media upload quality, which is available on the Google Play Store for Android users. You’ll need to update WhatsApp on your phone, after which you can take advantage of this feature.
In this feature, users can now change the quality of a photo or video to standard or HD before sharing it from WhatsApp.
Also, it was recently revealed by an X user that WhatsApp is bringing a new feature which will allow the users to make international payments via UPI. Nothing much has been confirmed about that update by WhatsApp for now.
