Want to Lose Weight? Avoid These 3 Common False Claims

Many things have to be done to lose weight properly. Proper exercise, right diet definitely help in reducing weight, but one should not fall into the trap of misconceptions related to them. Today in this article, we are going to tell you about 3 such false claims, believing in which you can increase your weight instead of reducing it.

Myth: Eating packaged food does not affect weight

Fact: Home-cooked food has always been healthy. Instead of this, if you eat packaged food, then it can be harmful. Many packaged foods claim to be low-fat, fat-free and gluten-free, but they are full of sugar, which can affect weight. In such a situation, instead of these foods, one should rely on home-cooked food.

Myth: Weight loss occurs only by eating less

Fact: The first step towards losing weight is to reduce calories. Reduction in calories means that you keep burning more calories than you are consuming. For this, you can walk more. This is fine for the short term but doing this for a long time is like playing with health. To lose weight, food should not be reduced but balanced, along with this, focus should also be on exercise.
