The Equalizer 4 Plot
Lorenzo Vitale and his adolescent son arrive at a secluded winery in Sicily, only to discover a grim scene – his men lie brutally slain within. Unbeknownst to him, Robert McCall awaits in the dimly lit basement, held at gunpoint by two of Vitale’s henchmen. In a desperate bid for survival, McCall eliminates Vitale and the rest of his men to secure a mysterious key, but not without sustaining a gunshot wound to his back from Vitale’s young son.
Desperation sets in as McCall, injured and with no ammunition left from the intense firefight, contemplates suicide. However, fate intervenes, and he’s forced to flee. While driving back towards his destination, McCall succumbs to shock, losing consciousness on the road. His fate takes an unexpected turn when Gio Bonucci, a local carabinieri officer, stumbles upon him.
Bonucci rushes McCall to Altamonte, a charming Italian coastal town, where he is placed under the care of the town’s dedicated physician, Dr. Enzo Arisio.
