Retro Box Office Collection Day 4: Suriya, a superstar of South Indian cinema, has delivered numerous blockbusters in Tamil films. Now, he’s back with another power-packed performance in Retro, which is storming the box office. Despite clashing with five other releases, Retro has managed to earn well within just four days. Expectations are high that the film will recover its budget soon.
Retro was released in theatres on 1st May. This Tamil-language film faced a direct clash with the Tamil drama Tourist Family, which has also been performing strongly at the box office. While Tourist Family opened with a modest ₹2 crore on day one, it saw a major jump in collections on Sunday, potentially posing a threat to Retro‘s performance.

According to Sacnilk, Retro collected only ₹8 crore at the domestic box office on day four, the same amount it earned on Saturday. The film’s total collection so far stands at ₹43 crore.
