The British comedy series Man vs Baby released on Netflix on 11 December 2025. Created by Rowan Atkinson, the show serves as a follow-up to his earlier series Man vs Bee. Atkinson once again plays Trevor Bingley, who quits his job as a school caretaker and takes up a Christmas gig at a luxurious penthouse. But things turn chaotic when a nativity play’s “Baby Jesus” unexpectedly becomes the centre of his life.
The four-episode series, each around 30 minutes long, is designed as a family-friendly festive entertainer.
Fun Moments and Performances
The heart of the series lies in Trevor’s hilarious battle with the baby. The physical comedy works well — spilled milk, runaway strollers, and domestic disasters create a steady stream of light-hearted humour.
Rowan Atkinson’s impeccable timing and expressions evoke memories of his classic Mr Bean style while also giving Trevor a slightly emotional, fatherly edge.
The twin baby actors add plenty of cuteness to the scenes, although the CGI used in certain moments looks a bit odd.

Where the Series Falls Short
One noticeable drawback is the excessive product placement — brands like Cadbury and Pampers appear so frequently that scenes begin to feel like advertisements.
Some reviewers felt that the jokes fall flat at times, and the slapstick is toned down because Trevor surprisingly handles the baby more skillfully than expected.
The Christmas theme leans heavily into sentimentality, which may not appeal to all viewers.
Overall Verdict
Man vs Baby is a lightweight, easygoing watch — perfect for Christmas season viewing when you want something simple, cheerful, and not demanding. It may not be innovative or groundbreaking, but it delivers enough warm, family-oriented laughter to please its target audience.
Fans of Rowan Atkinson will enjoy it the most.
