Kathal Movie Review: An Engaging Satirical Comedy Drama

Kathal Movie Review

Kathal is a unique satirical comedy drama. The film is different from what you generally see from Bollywood. It has an absurd plot but the social commentary behind the motives of each character just makes this film special. Also, the film makes you realise what it wants to convey without getting preachy.

The direction and the screenplay of the film are fantastic. It is a crisp movie which avoids wasting moment. Nowadays, the viewers don’t want to watch something that does not take part in the end result and Kathal has managed to avoid unnecessary sub plots in the film.

Sanya Malhotra as a tenacious cop is a treat to watch. She has aced her role with perfection in this Netflix original film. Rajpal Yadav is at his usual best and will surely make you laugh with his antics. Vijay Raaz is ageing like a fine wine and his performances just continue to get better with time.

All in all, the film is perfect to lay down on your sofa to Netflix and Chill this weekend.
