    Yoga asana is one of your best choices to improve your physical health. Not only this, but yoga asanas also help improve our mental health. 



    So, if you want to improve your concentration and focus, yoga will help you. Here is a list of a few yoga asanas that will help you improve your concentration.  

    Tree Pose Or Vrikshasana

    Tree-Pose-–-Vrikshasana

    As the name suggests, this yoga pose will help you attain stability like a tree. It is a beginner’s yoga pose that anyone can try. 

    Additionally, you will see the best results if you do this yoga asana early in the morning on an empty stomach. This yoga pose helps you calm your nervous system, which is the first step to increasing your concentration power. 

    • Firstly, stand straight with your arms on your side. 
    • Now, place your left leg on your right inner thigh, and try maintaining your balance. 
    • Slowly raise both your arms above your head in a namaskar pose. 
    • Get your arms back and release your left leg. 
    • Repeat the process with your right leg. 

    Mountain Pose Or Tadasana

    Mountain pose is one of those yoga asanas that has multiple benefits. Along with increasing concentration, this yoga asana is best for strengthening your legs and improving your posture. It also helps strengthen your abdomen and make your spine more flexible.

    • Stand straight with your feet slightly apart and place your arms on your side. 
    • Slowly exhale and stretch your toes.
    • Hold the pose for a few seconds. 
    • Now, while inhaling, come back to stand on your feet. 

    Dance Pose Or Natrajasana

    The dance pose is another yoga asana that is great for improving focus. The dance pose helps in relieving stress and clearing your mind. 

    Apart from this, the dance pose helps you strengthen your chest, thighs and ankles. Moreover, if you continuously practice the dance pose, your metabolism and digestion will also improve. 

    • Firstly, stand in tadasana. 
    • With your right leg on the ground, bend your left leg and push behind. 
    • Hold your left foot with your left hand.
    • Try holding the pose for 10 to 15 seconds at least. 
    • Repeat the pose with your right leg. 

    Seated Forward Pose Or Paschimottoasana

    Yoga Asana

    This yoga pose is one of the most effective for improving concentration. If you practice this pose continuously, it will help you relieve your stress and calm your mind. 



    Also, the seated forward pose helps to improve your digestion and treats issues related to the intestines and gallbladder. 

    • Sit with your legs stretched out. 
    • Make sure your toes are flexed towards you, and your arms are by your side. 
    • Now, while inhaling, lift your arms. 
    • Now, exhale and bend forward to hold your toes, and try pushing your head towards your knees. 
    • Try holding this pose for as long as you can.

    Camel Pose Or Ustrasana

    Ustrasana

    Camel pose is another must-try yoga asana to improve concentration. Additionally, this will also help in improving your posture. 

    The camel pose also stimulates the endocrine glands and reduces menstrual stress. 

    • For this, kneel with your hands on your hips. 
    • Slowly bend backwards while exhaling by sliding your palms over your feet. 
    • Try straightening your arms when you are doing so. 
    • Hold this pose for 20 to 30 seconds. 

    You can also try other yoga poses like the crane, eagle, and Surya Namaskar to increase your concentration power. 

    Yoga helps you to relax and be calm. It keeps our minds from fluctuating constantly and prevents negative thoughts from coming out of our reason. So, practising yoga regularly is one of the best ways to improve concentration.
