Expected to open with around ₹20-25 crore, the film surprised everyone with a ₹35.50 crore collection on Friday. On Saturday, the Anees Bazmee-directed movie continued its strong performance, nearly doubling its box office numbers.

Opening in theaters on Friday, November 1, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 drew over 80% occupancy in most shows. Despite mixed reviews, it had an impressive start, earning ₹35.50 crore on day one, as reported by Sacnilk. Saturday’s earnings reached ₹36.49 crore, bringing the two-day total to ₹71.99 crore, surpassing the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s lifetime domestic earnings of ₹49.70 crore in just two days.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 vs Singham Again
The film’s performance is further notable as it’s nearly matching numbers with Singham Again, another major Bollywood release. While Singham Again earned ₹43.50 crore on Friday, topping Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s ₹35.50 crore, the gap narrowed on Saturday as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 brought in ₹36.49 crore compared to Singham Again’s ₹41.50 crore. A strong Sunday could propel Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 beyond ₹100 crore for its opening weekend.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 features Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri alongside Aaryan. This third installment of the franchise also marks Vidya Balan’s return as Manjulika, a character she first played in the original film.
