Adipurush, an Indian mythological drama starring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon, has been postponed after a huge backlash against the movie for its trailer that showcased kindergarten VFX. Prabhas starter Adipurush has now got a new official release date. Director Om Raut has announced that he needs more time to fix VFX after it received negative reviews.

Adipurush is now going to release on 16th June 2023 instead of 15th January 2023. The filmmakers have received feedback from the people, and they are making sure to get everything right as Adipursuh is made on a huge budget of Rs 500 Crores. It’s one of the most expensive movies ever, and the producers cannot afford to lose on this film.

Om Raut, the director, announced the new release date of Adipurush by a Tweet. He tweeted a photo which reads, “Adipurush is not a film but a representation of our devotion to Prabhu Shri Ram and commitment towards our Sanskriti and history. In order to give a complete visual experience to the viewers, we need more to get the team working on the film.”
