If you like action thrillers you can finish in one sitting, mark your calendar. The Terminal List Season 2 arrives on Prime Video on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, and the best part is that all eight episodes will be available on day one. No weekly waiting, no cliffhanger gaps. You can decide how fast you want to go.
What is the story about?
The show follows Navy SEAL Commander James Reece, played by Chris Pratt, who fights unknown forces trying to shake up the world order. The series is based on the bestselling novels by Jack Carr, and this new season adapts his second book, True Believer.
Season 1 was a dark revenge story. This time, Reece is no longer chasing a list. He has finished it, and now he is looking for a new purpose. The makers describe his path as a journey of violent redemption. The story also grows much bigger, turning into a spy thriller that moves across the Indian Ocean, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
Along the way, Reece uncovers a conspiracy that stretches from Moscow to Langley. It also connects to his own family’s history, which gives the story a more personal edge than a regular mission.
Who is in the cast?
Several familiar faces are coming back. Tom Hopper returns as Raife Hastings, Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq, and Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry.
New names join them too. Gabriel Luna plays Freddy Strain, and the wider cast includes Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Martin Sensmeier, Arnold Vosloo, and Shiraz Tzarfati. It is a very international group, which fits a story that travels this much.
The team behind the series
Chris Pratt is also an executive producer through his company, Indivisible Productions. Writer and showrunner David DiGilio, author Jack Carr, and Antoine Fuqua are involved as well. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC, and Civic Center Media.
Authenticity has been a big focus. Former Navy SEAL Jared Shaw and former Army Ranger Max Adams oversee the action, and military veterans work as writers, actors, advisors, and directors. Pratt has called this season a tribute to the Special Operations community and says he is proud of the effort behind it.
What should you watch first?
If it has been a while, it is smart to refresh your memory. Season 1 is on Prime Video, and so is the prequel series, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf. Neither is strictly required, but they will help you follow the characters and their history.
