What if stumbling into the grimiest, most illegal business imaginable turned out to be the best career move three broke friends ever made?
That’s the premise of Clean Up Company, the new dark comedy crime series coming to Prime Video and MX Player on August 21, 2026 — and streaming completely free.
Eight episodes, a lawless fictional border town, and three ordinary guys who accidentally discover that disposing of dead bodies for gangsters pays extremely well. At least until it doesn’t.
When and Where to Watch
Clean Up Company premieres on August 21, 2026. The series streams free of charge on Prime Video and on the MX Player Android app, which has recently been refreshed with a new identity — now branded as MX Player by Prime Video.
You don’t need a paid subscription to watch this one. It’s available across mobile devices, connected TVs, the Amazon shopping app, and Fire TV.

The Story
Set in the fictional border town of Saribgunj — a place where gang rivalries, political influence, and criminal networks shape everyday life — the show follows three friends who are just trying to get by.
Raju, Swapan, and Goldie aren’t criminals. They’re not ambitious underworld figures with a plan. They’re ordinary young men in a town that doesn’t offer many legitimate ways out.
Then someone named Abbas drags them into cleaning up a murder.
It turns out that getting rid of a body — quietly, efficiently, without leaving a trace — is something people in Saribgunj are willing to pay serious money for. What starts as a one-off, deeply uncomfortable favour quickly reveals itself as a business opportunity that none of them had remotely anticipated.
So they start a company.
The Clean Up Company is born — and business is good. Money starts flowing. The friends start daring to imagine a life beyond Saribgunj, a dream of finally getting out of the place that has held them back their whole lives.
But the success doesn’t come without consequences. Their growing enterprise puts them directly in the crosshairs of Saribgunj’s most powerful gangsters. Dangerous people start paying attention. Shifting loyalties and unexpected betrayals complicate everything. And a determined IPS officer — someone who refuses to be intimidated by the town’s criminal power structure — begins closing in on the entire network.
The exit from Saribgunj that once seemed possible starts moving further and further out of reach the deeper the three friends wade in.
The Cast
Vishal Jethwa plays Raju — described as flamboyant, quirky, and street-smart, with a nose for opportunity and a genuine attachment to his family and friends beneath the carefree exterior. Jethwa has spoken about being drawn to the contrast between Raju’s breezy surface and his deeper loyalties, and from the trailer, that duality comes through clearly.
Amey Wagh plays Swapan, one of the three friends at the centre of the business. Wagh is one of the most reliably interesting performers working in Hindi OTT content right now, and a dark comedy crime series is exactly the kind of material that plays to his strengths.
Ajitesh Gupta plays Goldie, the third member of the trio and the third leg of the Clean Up Company.
Ravi Kishan plays Indranath, the IPS officer closing in on Saribgunj’s criminal network. Ravi Kishan has described the character as someone who refuses to be intimidated by the forces working against him — someone whose arrival begins to genuinely disrupt the balance of power in the town. That collision between Indranath’s stubborn integrity and the Clean Up Company’s increasingly dangerous position is clearly where the show’s tension builds most intensely.
Jisshu Sengupta and Saswata Chatterjee round out the ensemble in key supporting roles, adding considerable acting weight to an already strong lineup.
The Director and Creative Team
Clean Up Company is written and directed by Rohan Ghose, with Konarak Mukherjee as co-writer. The series is a Jio Studios presentation and a GSEAMS Production, produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Kartick Nishandar, and Arjun Singgh Baran.
Producers Nishandar and Singgh Baran described the show’s core question as something universal despite its very specific setting — whether you can really escape the place and circumstances that shaped you. That question gives the show an emotional backbone beyond the dark comedy and crime thriller elements.

Why This One Looks Worth Watching
The premise is genuinely fresh for Indian OTT. Crime dramas are everywhere, and buddy comedies are common enough, but the specific combination of dark humour, friendship under pressure, and a morally murky business venture in a fully realised fictional criminal ecosystem gives Clean Up Company a distinctive identity.
The cast is excellent. Vishal Jethwa, Amey Wagh, and Ravi Kishan are all performers who understand how to balance comedy with real weight — which is exactly what a show like this needs to work.
And it’s free. No subscription required. Just show up on August 21.
Clean Up Company premieres free on Prime Video and MX Player by Prime Video on August 21, 2026.
