The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially confirmed an extensive and high-profile commentary lineup for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, bringing together legendary voices, former champions, and current international stars for the global tournament.
Leading the commentary panel are some of the most respected names in world cricket, including Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith, and Ian Bishop. Their presence ensures expert analysis and familiar voices throughout the tournament.

The panel also features several former ICC Men’s T20 World Cup winners, including Aaron Finch, Dinesh Karthik, Kumar Sangakkara, Samuel Badree, Robin Uthappa, and Carlos Brathwaite, adding first-hand tournament-winning insights to the coverage.
In a notable inclusion, current international players will also take part in commentary duties. Temba Bavuma, the reigning ICC World Test Championship–winning captain, is set to appear on commentary, while 2014 T20 World Cup winner Angelo Mathews has also been named in the broadcast team.

The commentary roster is further strengthened by an elite group of former captains, fast-bowling greats, and seasoned broadcasters such as Eoin Morgan, Wasim Akram, Sunil Gavaskar, Matthew Hayden, Ramiz Raja, Dale Steyn, Michael Atherton, Waqar Younis, Simon Doull, Shaun Pollock, and Katey Martin.
Renowned broadcasters Harsha Bhogle, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Natalie Germanos, Danny Morrison, Alan Wilkins, Ian Ward, Mark Howard, Nick Knight, Athar Ali Khan, Kass Naidoo, Bazid Khan, Raunak Kapoor, and Niall O’Brien are also part of the broadcast team.
Additional contributors include Preston Mommsen, Andrew Leonard, Russel Arnold, and Roshan Abeysinghe, completing one of the most diverse commentary lineups assembled for an ICC event.
ICC.TV’s broadcast coverage will include comprehensive pre-match shows, innings interval analysis, post-match wrap-ups, and daily highlights programmes. The commentary team will be deployed across all 55 matches of the tournament, with coverage continuing through the knockout stages and culminating in the final scheduled for March 8.
