There is great news for candidates who are planning to apply for Railway Group D recruitment. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has postponed the application process for RRB Group D Recruitment 2026. An official notice regarding this change has also been released.
Under this recruitment drive, around 22,000 posts will be filled. As per the revised schedule, the online registration process will now begin on 31 January 2026, instead of the earlier announced date of 21 January 2026. The Railway Recruitment Board has advised candidates to keep their Aadhaar details updated before applying. The name and date of birth on the Aadhaar card must exactly match the details mentioned in the Class 10 certificate. Candidates are also instructed to update their latest photograph and biometric details, such as fingerprints and iris scan, in Aadhaar to avoid any issues during the recruitment process.
Age Limit
According to the information available on the official website, the age limit for applying to RRB Group D recruitment is 18 to 33 years. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government rules.
