Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi film saw a significant 46% drop in earnings on its second day. Despite earning 93 crore net in India on day 1 with stars like Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, its day 2 earnings fell to around 50 – 55 crore. This drop is likely due to Friday being a workday, but there’s hope for a weekend boost.
As of now, the film has grossed approximately 147 crore in two days, just shy of the 150 crore mark. It aims to reach 250 crore by the weekend if it maintains its current pace at the box office without further drops.

When Will Kalki 2898 AD Go Past Rs 300 Crore?
If Kalki 2898 AD continues to improve over the weekend, it could reach the 300 crore mark, giving the film the momentum it needs right now. It has already surpassed the lifetime box office collection of Prabhas’s film Radhe Shyam, which earned 103 crore in India.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi movie also features Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and others in key roles. With positive feedback, there’s talk of a potential sequel coming soon!
