Malyagiri Odia Movie Review: An Emotional and Adventurous Journey

Malyagiri is an Odia film that takes viewers on an emotional and adventurous journey centered around the character Parshu, portrayed by Babushaan Mohanty.

Parshu is a carefree and jovial individual living with his family until a sudden crisis strikes. His father falls seriously ill, and a substantial sum of money is urgently needed for a life-saving operation. When the family’s financial means prove insufficient, Parshu makes a daring decision – to scale the challenging Malyagiri mountain in pursuit of the sacred Vedic leaves, believed to hold the key to their financial salvation.

The film features a talented cast including Amlan Das, Sivani Sangita, and Suryamayee, who each play a crucial role in the unfolding drama. Under the direction of Prithvi Raj Pattnaik, the story is brought to life with skill and precision.
