BSNL had launched its IPTV service some time ago, and now Airtel has also introduced its own IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) service in 2,000 cities. With this, customers will have easier access to content from 29 streaming apps, including Netflix, Apple TV+, Amazon Prime, Sony Liv, and ZEE5, along with 600 popular TV channels and Wi-Fi service. Airtel has confirmed that the plans start at ₹699.

Airtel IPTV Entertainment Service and Black Plan

There were already reports about Airtel working on its IPTV entertainment service, which is being launched under the “Black Plan.” Users who purchase an IPTV plan will also receive a special offer—free service for 30 days. This service can be accessed through the Airtel Thanks app. Airtel plans to roll out IPTV services across India, with the first phase launching in cities like Delhi, Rajasthan, Assam, and other northeastern states in the coming weeks.

Better Home Entertainment Experience for Airtel Users

Commenting on the launch, the CEO of Connected Homes and the Chief Marketing Officer of Bharti Airtel said, “This launch marks the beginning of a new era in home entertainment, where cutting-edge technology is integrated with traditional TV. It will enhance the digital experience and provide users with a completely new viewing experience. We are confident that customers will love this service.”
