6 Early Signs of a Brain Tumour You Should Never Ignore – See a Doctor Immediately if You Notice Them

    Brain tumour signs

A brain tumour can be life-threatening if not detected in time. In its early stages, the body often sends subtle but significant signals. Recognising these signs early can make a big difference in diagnosis and treatment. Here are six symptoms you should never ignore:

    1. Persistent and Unusual Headaches

One of the most common early signs of a brain tumour is frequent, intense headaches—especially if they are worse in the morning or don’t respond to regular medication.

    2. Unexplained Vomiting

If you experience nausea or vomiting without any obvious reason, particularly in the morning, it could be due to increased pressure in the brain.

    3. Loss of Balance or Difficulty Walking

A tumour may affect the part of the brain that controls coordination. Sudden trouble walking, loss of balance, or frequent falls can be a red flag.

    4. Vision Problems or Blurriness

Blurred vision, double vision, or trouble seeing from one eye could indicate a tumour pressing on the brain’s visual areas.

    5. Hearing or Speech Issues

Sudden hearing loss or trouble speaking clearly can point to a problem in the brain’s communication centre and should be taken seriously.

    6. Memory Loss or Confusion

If you notice increased forgetfulness or slow thinking, it might be a sign of disrupted brain function due to a tumour.

Note: If you or someone you know experiences any of these symptoms persistently, consult a doctor immediately. Early detection saves lives.
