Pathu Thala Review:

The outstanding background score by A.R. Rahman and the flawless cinematography by Farook J. Basha give Pathu Thala its own distinct vibe. The BGM will continue to reverberate through your ears after you leave the theater! The actors have all delivered outstanding performances.

Pathu Thala is a treat to watch because of Silambarasan’s versatility in acting and his signature black attire! This is one of the best dark underworld action-crime films in the Tamil film industry because of the heartbreaking and emotional climax.

If the filmmakers had avoided the use of unnecessary sub-plots and not at all demanding commedy then it could have been a perfect movie to watch this week in the theatres. The film’s biggest strength lies in the few scenes that involve both the main characters.

Although Pathu Thala isn’t perfect, its essence is that it demonstrates that there are many shades of gray in between the black and white that most people use to judge others. This is without a doubt one of the more interesting stories that have been shown on the Tamil language industry screen this year, and if you like commercial dramas that are interesting and new, you should go see it.
