Mirzapur Season 3 Release Date on Amazon Prime Video
Mirzapur Season 3 is expected to release in July 2023 on Amazon Prime Video. The second season of the web series was released on 23rd October 2022, while the first season of the web series was premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 16th November 2020. Both the first and second seasons comprised of 9 and 10 episodes each, and Season 3 is expected to feature the same number of episodes.
The third season will further continue the plot of your favourite characters like Guddu Bhaiya and Kaleen Bhaiya. Earlier, there were reports that Mirzapur 3 will release in November 2022, but due to the COVID-19, the shoot of the show was pushed back, and it was decided that it will release in July 2023 on Amazon Prime Video.

Mirzapur Season 3 will not feature the fan favourite Divyenndu in the role of Munna Bhaiya. The character of Munna Bhaiya was killed at the end of Season 2, and Season 3 will focus on the aftermath of that event. - Pankaj Tripathi as Akhandanand Tripathi, a.k.a. “Kaleen Bhaiya”: He runs a carpet business along with the business production of illegal guns (katta). He is a cunning and power-obsessed man, Satyanand Tripathi’s elder son, Beena’s husband, and Munna’s father.
- Ali Fazal as Govind “Guddu” Pandit: Ramakant and Vasudha’s elder son, Sweety’s husband, and later the lover of Shabnam. He wanted to be Mr Purvanchal after winning the contest but later worked as an employee in Kaleen Bhaiya’s illegal business of guns. After Munna kills Bablu and Sweety, he sets out to take revenge against the Tripathi family.
- Lilliput as Devdatt Tyagi, a.k.a. “Dadda”: Bharat and Shatrughan’s father and Geeta’s husband. He is a dealer of alcohol and a powerful man of Bihar.
- Rasika Dugal as Beena Tripathi: Kaleen Bhaiya’s second wife, Satyanand’s daughter-in-law and Munna’s stepmother.
- Shweta Tripathi as Gajgamini “Golu” Gupta: A nerdy, intelligent college student who always reads books; Parshuram’s younger daughter and Sweety’s younger sister. Her character becomes dark and more violent when she sets to take revenge after Munna kills Bablu and Sweety.
- Isha Talwar as Madhuri Yadav Tripathi, Surya’s daughter, Munna’s wife. She becomes the CM of Uttar Pradesh after the death of her father.
Mirzapur Season 3 Plot
Mirzapur Season 3 will follow what happened after the bloodshed in Season 2. Guudu Bhaiya gunned down Kaleen Bhaiya, but was unsuccessful in killing him. Munna, however, suffered the consequences and died instead of Kaleen Bhaiya. It is expected that Kaleen Bhaiya will come back to challenge Guddu and Golu for control of Mirzapur. Beena’s allegiance to Guddu might be broken if she decides to focus on her son finally becoming King of Mirzapur. Meanwhile, Madhuri, the widow of Munna Bhaiya, who is now Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh seeks revenge for her late husband. On the flipside, Maqbool’s actions may come full circle as he has betrayed Kaleen Bhaiya at his own risk. The fate of these characters within a world driven by crime and drama should become clearer in Mirzapur Season 3.
