Ghar Banduk Biryani is set in the fictional area of Kolagad, known for its rebel activity. Commander Pallam and his rebels plan revenge on an MLA from their forest hideout. In a neighboring village, Raju meets his potential bride Lakshmi, whose father demands that Raju have his own house for the marriage. Raju, a skilled cook at a local dhaba, excels at making biryani but struggles to acquire a house. Meanwhile, Inspector Raya Patil dutifully carries out his work in Pune, leading to trouble and a transfer to Kolagad. Eventually, the paths of these three characters intersect, shaping the narrative of Ghar Banduk Biryani.
