Eric is a British psychological thriller miniseries set to premiere on Netflix. Benedict Cumberbatch will star in the lead character. The series was created by Abi Morgan and directed by Lucy Forbes, with Holly Pullinger serving as producer.
Eric Release Date
Eric is set to be released on Netflix on 30 May 2024. The six-part series, produced by Little Chick and Sister, has been greenlit by Netflix for November 2021. Abi Morgan wrote the script, which Lucy Forbes directed and executive produced. Holly Pullinger produces, while Benedict Cumberbatch stars and serves as executive producer. In addition, Jane Featherstone and Lucy Dyke from Sister serve as executive producers, as does Morgan through Little Chick.

Eric Plot
Vincent, a puppeteer in 1980s New York, is devastated when his nine-year-old son, Edgar, goes missing. As he struggles with his grief, Vincent’s behaviour becomes increasingly erratic, putting a gulf between him and his loved ones. While struggling with substance misuse, Vincent becomes obsessed with the idea of reconnecting with Edgar with the help of his gigantic puppet friend, Eric.
