We all love the rainy season. During this time, most people eagerly wait to get drenched in the rain. However, as we all know, the rainy season also brings with it a host of illnesses. Seasonal allergies, flu, and viruses become more prevalent during this time due to the increase in harmful bacteria and infectious particles in the air. Additionally, the mosquito menace also escalates during this season, heightening the risk of diseases like dengue, malaria, and Zika virus.

One of the most common problems people face during this period is the common cold. Even a brief exposure to rain can lead to sneezing, which gradually turns into a fever. Such individuals often struggle with discomfort and are unable to fully enjoy the rainy season.

Ayurvedic Tips To Stay Healthy In Monsoon

Drink Ginger Water Throughout the Day

Ginger water helps control your appetite, boost immunity, and enhance metabolism. To prepare it, take 1 liter of water and add half a teaspoon of dry ginger or ginger powder. Boil this mixture on medium heat for 10 minutes. Strain it and let it cool to room temperature, then store it in a steel bottle. Enjoy this water throughout the day.

    Consume Honey

Every day, either in the morning or before bedtime, consume one teaspoon of honey. It helps balance phlegm and assists in controlling body weight. Honey is also effective in preventing monsoon-related illnesses like coughs and colds.
