They feel that there is less intoxication in beer, but beer is as harmful as alcohol and gradually makes a person sick.     Actually, beer contains empty calories and when you drink one bottle or more of it, calories start accumulating in the body. Due to which obesity and body weight start increasing. That is why the belly of beer drinkers bulges out quickly. On the other hand, increasing obesity increases many diseases. These include diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol and heart disease. If more than 12 ounces of beer is consumed daily, it invites these diseases.
