    The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has unveiled a new 90-day visa that does not require a local sponsor, making it easier for tourists, business travelers, and family visitors to enter the country. This multiple-entry visa, which can be extended for up to 180 days per year, is part of the UAE’s broader strategy to enhance its appeal as a global destination for tourism and business. Applications can be submitted online through official government portals, with processing times typically ranging from 5 to 7 business days.

    This new visa eliminates the need for a local sponsor, allowing travelers to stay for an extended period with greater flexibility. The initiative aims to attract more visitors and investors, reinforcing the UAE’s status as a leading hub for tourism and business. With an easy online application process and a hassle-free extension system, travelers can plan longer stays with confidence.

    Key Details of the UAE 90-Day Visa

    • Duration: 90 days (extendable up to 180 days per year)
    • Entry Type: Multiple-entry visa
    • Sponsor Requirement: Not needed
    • Eligibility: Available to tourists, business visitors, and family guests
    • Application Process: Online through the GDRFA or ICA UAE platforms
    • Visa Fee: AED 700 plus a refundable security deposit of AED 2,000
    • Processing Time: Typically 5-7 business days
    • Overstay Penalty: AED 50 per day

    Application Requirements

    Applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold a passport valid for at least six months. Additional requirements include proof of financial stability, valid travel insurance, and a return ticket or onward travel documentation. The application process involves submitting necessary documents online, completing the form on the GDRFA or ICA UAE platforms, and paying the required fees. Once approved, the e-visa is sent via email.
