    Significant Drop in Gold and Silver Prices: Weekly Overview of the Bullion Market

    Good news for gold and silver buyers! There has been a decline in the weekly prices of gold and silver. This business week, gold prices have fallen by ₹3,101 per 10 grams, while silver prices have decreased by ₹3,756 per kilogram. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA) website, at the start of this business week (from November 11 to 14), the rate of 24-carat gold was ₹76,840 per 10 grams, which dropped to ₹73,739 per 10 grams by Thursday. Similarly, the price of 999-purity silver fell from ₹90,859 to ₹87,103 per kilogram.

    It is worth noting that the prices issued by IBJA provide information about the standard rates of gold with different purities. All these rates are before taxes and making charges. The prices released by IBJA are widely accepted across the country, but they do not include GST.
