    EPFO’s Major Announcement: Manage Your PF Account Easily from Home Using the Umang App

    EPFO has made it easier for people to manage their PF-related tasks from home. Now, you can access a wide range of EPFO services right from your home. EPFO has introduced the Umang app, allowing members to keep track of their PF accounts and manage them conveniently.

    To use these services, completing your e-nomination is mandatory. Once done, EPFO members can check their PF balance, make online withdrawals, apply for advances, and file claims through the Umang app.

    How to Use the Umang App

    To use the Umang app, you must be an EPFO member. First, download the app from the Play Store and install it on your phone. After installation, log in using your Aadhaar number and password. Once logged in, you’ll see various EPFO services such as checking PF balance, withdrawal requests, and claim status. Select the service you need and follow the instructions to complete the process.

    How to Withdraw PF Money from the Umang App

    To withdraw your PF money using the Umang app, open the app and log in with your Aadhaar number and password. Go to the service option and select “Claim.” Then, log in with your UAN number and OTP, choose the request type, fill in the required details, and submit your claim.

    How to Claim from the EPFO E-Portal

    To claim through the EPFO e-portal, visit the official EPFO website and log in using your UAN number and OTP. Click on the “Manage” tab, select “KYC,” and verify your details. Once your KYC is updated, go to the service option, click on “Claim,” and follow the instructions to submit your claim.

    With these simple steps, EPFO members can easily manage their PF accounts and make claims from home using the Umang app or the EPFO portal.
