  • Vineeta Singh, the CEO, and Co-Founder of SUGAR Cosmetics.
  • Anupam Mittal, Founder & CEO of People Group.
  • Namita Thapar, the Executive Director at Emcure Pharma.
  • Aman Gupta, the Co-Founder & CMO of boAt.
  • Peyush Bansal, the Founder, and CEO of Lenskart.com.
  • Ghazal Alagh, the co-Founder and CIO of Mamaearth.  

Shark Tank India premiered on SET India on 20th December 2021 and has been a hit. Over 62,000 applications have been received to the date, from which only 198 got a chance. 

First hosted the show in the USA for 12 seasons. It has been successful in making startup culture a familiar one in India. You need to register, and the last date of registration is 21st July 2022.

Five Startups That Received Enormous Investments From the Show

  • Skippi Ice Pops– Skippi Ice Pops received one crore for 15% equity. This company is India’s first ice popsicle brand and the first brand to receive an All Shark deal. 
  • Hammer– The Thai company manufactures audio gadgets, electric toothbrushes, and fitness bands. This company was founded in 2019 by Rohit Nandwani, and it received funding of one crore for 40% equity from Aman Gupta, founder of BoAt.
  • AAS Vidyalaya– This educational startup received an investment of 1.5 crores, which is the highest in the show.
  • Get-A-Whey– This healthy ice-cream brand received one crore for 15% equity.
  • Peeschute – Parachute has received ₹75 lakhs for 6% equity and this company manufactures unisex disposable urine bags at affordable prices.

Rannvijay Singh, the MTV star, is the host of the show. You can watch this show on Sony Entertainment on weekdays from 9 pm and repeat telecast comes at 11:30 pm. Studio NEXT produces the show.
