“Respecting the People’s Verdict, Congratulations to BJP…” Arvind Kejriwal’s First Reaction to Election Defeat in Delhi

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal has given his first reaction after his party’s defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections. He stated that he accepts the people’s verdict and congratulated the BJP on its victory. He assured that AAP will continue working for the welfare of the people.

In a video message, Kejriwal said, “Today, the results of the Delhi elections have been announced. We humbly accept the people’s decision. The public’s verdict is above all. I congratulate the BJP on their victory. I hope they fulfill the expectations with which the people have given them a majority.”

Reflecting on AAP’s work, he said, “Over the past ten years, we have worked tirelessly for the people. We have made significant improvements in education, healthcare, electricity, and water supply. We have tried to provide relief in various ways and have worked to enhance Delhi’s infrastructure.”

Kejriwal further stated, “We will always stand by the people in their happiness and struggles. We did not enter politics for power; we see it as a medium to serve the people. We will not only act as a strong opposition but will continue our efforts in social service. Our commitment to the people remains unchanged.”

He also expressed gratitude towards AAP workers, saying, “I want to thank all our party workers. They fought a remarkable election. They worked extremely hard and endured a lot during this period. Despite all challenges, they fought brilliantly, and for that, I sincerely congratulate them.”
