The blockbuster film Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to dominate the box office, breaking nearly every record in its path. It has now become the third-highest-grossing Indian film of all time globally, trailing only Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Dangal. As the film completes two weeks of release, it is set to cross ₹1000 crore nett in India and ₹1600 crore worldwide.
On its 14th day, Pushpa 2 earned ₹20 crore across India, marking its lowest single-day collection so far. However, this figure still surpasses the opening day earnings of most recent releases. Out of the ₹20 crore earned on Wednesday, ₹16 crore came from the Hindi version, while the Telugu version contributed ₹3.2 crore. The remaining earnings came from Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil versions.
This strong performance in Hindi is surprising for a film primarily made in Telugu, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil. With more than ₹600 crore from the Hindi version, Pushpa 2 has become one of the highest-earning Hindi releases ever.
Domestically, Pushpa 2 has collected ₹973 crore nett and is poised to surpass ₹1000 crore within two days. Globally, it has overtaken massive hits like Pathaan and Jawan at the worldwide box office, though it still lags behind them in domestic collections. Additionally, Pushpa 2 has surpassed SS Rajamouli’s RRR, cementing its position as the third-biggest Indian release of all time.
According to the latest update from Mythri Movie Makers, the film had earned ₹1409 crore worldwide as of two days ago and is now expected to have crossed ₹1500 crore globally. While Baahubali 2 made approximately ₹1700 crore worldwide, Dangal remains the highest-grossing Indian film ever, with over ₹2000 crore in global earnings, largely from China.

Despite its success, Pushpa 2 faced a tragic incident during its release. A woman lost her life in a stampede at a Hyderabad theatre where Allu Arjun was present for a screening. Her son remains on ventilator support. The actor has pledged financial assistance to the family and was briefly arrested in connection with the incident before securing bail.
Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to set new benchmarks, proving to be a historic moment for Indian cinema.
