Nothing Phone 1 has finally been launched in India on 12th July 2022 at the starting price of Rs 32,999. The Phone has created a lot of buzz and hype due to Nothing Technologies being headed by Carl Pei, who was one of the founders of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, OnePlus.

Nothing Phone 1 Supports boasts a unique transparent back that lets the user see the smartphone’s hardware. The phone developed under the supervision of Carl Pei has a Glyph Interface that uses LED strips which gives users of the phone control over the pattern of lights for the notifications and more.

The London-based company has tried their best to include fascinating and eye-catching features. The buyers will get a 4,500mAh battery under the smartphone, which will support 33W fast charging. It will operate on Nothing OS based on Android 12, which will be powered by Qualcomm SM7325-AE Snapdragon 778G+ 5G Processor.



The phone is launched in three variants of internal storage and RAM combinations in India- 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 12GB RAM. On the front, the phone flaunts a 16MP camera, while at the rear, you get two 50MP cameras which operate as wide and ultrawide lenses. The back camera can record videos in 4k at 30fps, while the front camera is enabled to record videos in 1080p at 30fps.

Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, proximity, gyro, and compass sensors are included in the smartphone. Nothing Phone 1 also supports USB on-the-go, a feature which was popularised by OnePlus smartphones in India.

The mobile phone also supports 5W wireless charging and reverse charging as well. It is available in standard white and black colours. The basic variant of the phone is priced at Rs 32,999, while the high-end variant is priced at Rs 38,999. Those who want to purchase the version with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage would have to spend Rs 35,999.
