Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan, and Khushi Kapoor (Janhvi Kapoor’s sister) have teamed up for the film Loveyapa, which is trying to gain momentum in theatres on its second day. The film, directed by Advait Chandan, had a slow start, collecting only ₹1.15 crore on its opening day. However, it showed slight growth on the second day. Despite receiving an IMDb rating of 5/10, the film is attracting audiences during Valentine’s Week, thanks to strong performances by the lead actors and good direction.
What is ‘Loveyapa’ About?
The film presents modern-day love stories in a humorous yet thought-provoking way. It revolves around a couple who decide to swap their phones, leading to shocking revelations that bring unexpected twists to their relationship. These revelations not only test their trust but also bring major changes in their lives. The movie blends fun with meaningful lessons, making it engaging for the audience. Apart from Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan, seasoned actors like Ashutosh Rana and Kiku Sharda have also delivered outstanding performances.
‘Loveyapa’ Box Office Collection
On the second day, Loveyapa managed to earn ₹1.50 crore, showing marginal growth from its opening-day collection of ₹1.15 crore. This brings the total box office collection for the first two days to ₹2.65 crore. It will be interesting to see whether the film can sustain this growth on the third day. However, Loveyapa is facing competition from other films currently running in theatres, such as Sanam Teri Kasam and Thandel.
