Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 5: ‘Chhaava’ Smashes Records with Huge Earnings, Surpasses ‘Shaitaan’

Within just four days of its release, the film collected more than its budget, and now it is reaping profits. Let’s check out how much ‘Chhaava’ earned on its fifth day, i.e., Tuesday.

How Much Did ‘Chhaava’ Earn on Its Fifth Day?

Based on the valiant story of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s son, Sambhaji Maharaj, ‘Chhaava’ has captivated audiences nationwide. The film had a powerful start and created havoc at the box office over the opening weekend. Even on weekdays, ‘Chhaava’ continues to perform exceptionally well. After a massive Monday collection, the film not only recovered its ₹130 crore budget but also made a profit of over ₹10 crore. On Tuesday, ‘Chhaava’ maintained its strong momentum at the ticket counters.

‘Chhaava’ Box Office Collection So Far

According to Sacnilk’s report:

  • Day 1: ₹31 crore
  • Day 2: ₹37 crore
  • Day 3: ₹48.5 crore
  • Day 4: ₹24 crore
  • Day 5 (Tuesday – Early Estimates): ₹24.50 crore

With this, ‘Chhaava’ has now amassed a total of ₹165 crore in five days.

‘Chhaava’ Overtakes ‘Shaitaan’ on Day 5

Since its release, ‘Chhaava’ has been breaking records. On its fifth day, the film surpassed the lifetime box office collection of Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shaitaan.’ According to Bollywood Hungama, ‘Shaitaan’ had a lifetime collection of ₹149.49 crore in India. In just five days, ‘Chhaava’ has already earned ₹165 crore, setting a new benchmark.

How Close is ‘Chhaava’ to the ₹200 Crore Mark?

Directed by Laxman Utekar, ‘Chhaava’ is racing towards the ₹200 crore milestone at an incredible pace. Given its current performance, the film is expected to cross the mark before its second weekend. Moreover, ‘Chhaava’ is also inching closer to surpassing Vicky Kaushal’s highest-grossing film, ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, which had a lifetime collection of ₹245.36 crore.
