    Checkout Air Travel guidelines you need to follow for major states in India

    With the upliftment of lockdown, Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the Air travel with specific guidelines in the country under Unlock 1.0. The industry faced severe downfall, both in the revenues and performance, but is coping to come back out of the pit of despair. 



    Though each state requires a 7-day self-quarantine period for everyone, many states have added new and separate guidelines, as per the conditions. To help our readers out, here are the air travel guidelines for major states in India.

    Delhi

    All travelers entering the state either by air, rail, or bus will now have to stay in 7 days home quarantine period. 

    For international passengers or with mild symptoms, and institutional quarantine period of 7 days is necessary, followed by 7 days under home quarantine. 

    No facility of COVID-19 testing is available at arrival. 

    Downloading the Aarogya Setu app is mandatory.




    Maharashtra

    Travelers entering Maharashtra are required to undergo 7-day quarantine. Except for Pune, here you are sent to 14 days of home quarantine. 

    Passengers will not be tested for COVID-19 at airports.

    Aarogya Setu app status has to be under a low infectious rate. 

     

    Uttar Pradesh

    Passengers visiting Uttar Pradesh by air will be required to undergo 14 days of self-quarantine. 

    No testing will be done at arrival. 

    Passengers who are visiting for a short duration or passing along to visit another state are required to fill their details at the government desk. 

    Record of Aarogya Setu app status is mandatory. 

    Travelers will be allowed to enter the state only after a successful registration.  




    Jammu and Kashmir

    While visiting Jammu and Kashmir, a 24 hours institutional quarantine is made mandatory. 

    Here, COVID-19 testing will be done for all age groups. If found positive, then you are liable to be kept in hospital faculty. 

    If found negative, a 14 days self-quarantine period is necessary. 

    Defense personnel, pregnant women, and senior citizens can come out of quarantine. But are to be checked thoroughly. 

     

    Madhya Pradesh 

    Forehead screening, health checkups will be done upon arrival. 

    If symptomatic, then a traveler is eligible to be kept under 7 days of institutional quarantine till test results come back. 

    If asymptomatic, 14 days of self-quarantine is to be done. 

    Record of Aarogya Setu app status is mandatory. 




    Andhra Pradesh

    Any symptomatic passenger or passengers arriving from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan will be directly sent to institutional quarantine for the COVID test.

    Travelers will be directly sent to 14 days of self-quarantine after collecting swabs on arrival. 

    If a person could submit a NO COVID-19 certificate issued and approved by an ICMR authorized laboratory within the last 3 days of arrival, he/she can exit institutional quarantine. 

     

    Haryana

    Visitors must go under self-quarantine for 14 days after arrival. 

    If a person is likely to have a novel Coronavirus symptom, they are required to get checked with a COVID-19 hospital or contact the national Coronavirus helpline for further information. 

    COVID-19 testing is absent upon arrival. 

    Passengers flying to Chandigarh must fill the self-declaration form. 

     

    Himachal Pradesh

    Passengers are required to carry a COVID-19 negative certificate which should be issued between 48 hours of departure.  

    14 days of institutional quarantine for travelers entering the state from a Red Zone area in the country. 

    Passengers are required to undergo 14 days of self-quarantine after entering Himachal Pradesh.
