  1. The Serpent – Netflix

Based on a true story of the conman and merciless murderer Charles Sobhraj was finally caught and imprisoned after deceiving the law so many times. Claiming to be a gem dealer, Charles and his girlfriend Marie-Andrée Leclerc committed a number of crimes along the ‘Hippie Trail’ all over the Asian region in 1975 and 1976. Herman Knippenberg being a Dutch diplomat probes disappearance of a young couple and soon find out the overall story behind this.

Irul is an Indian Malayalam-language mystery crime thriller film directed by Naseef Yusuf Izuddin. This is a story of three protagonists who are trapped inside a dark and abandoned house on a rainy day. As the night advances many secrets of the house get revealed and further leads to a dead body in the basement that complicates the story more and takes you into greater suspense.

Set in the late 1960s in Paris, Madame Claude is the head of the prostitution business and is determined to rule over both the French political and criminal words. It is directed by Sylvie Verheyde and is based on true events of the life of a young girl but the end of her is closer than she thinks as she is alone in this fight.

It is an American drama film directed by Ricky Staub and based upon the novel Ghetto Cowboy by Greg Neri.
